4. Almost The Best...
I do highly recommend KPIG...what a pleasant surprise to hear them on the real radio in San Francisco.

There are many other great Progressive stations...run by real radio people who spun the music then...out on the web. There's a lot of great music...lots of it that hasn't been heard in years...playing on KPIG and other internet stations.

A couple I recommend:

Zecom Radio - http://home.comcast.net/~zecom/listen.htm
Okemos Brewing Company - http://www.okemosbrewing.com/
WORJ - www.worj.org

Give these guys a listen...they do it for the love of music and radio...

5. My fave internet stations:
Edited on Thu Jul-23-09 01:15 PM by juno jones
Radio Paradise (Paradise, CA) www.radioparadise.com (great mix of classic and new music)

Radio Sing Sing (Paris, France) www.sing-sing.org (now for something completely different)

Soma Fm (San Francisco) www.somafm.com (multiple flavors of electronica, indie, modern country, lounge, etc)

KEXP (Seattle) www.KEXP.org (college station)

KALX (Berkeley) www.kalx.berkeley.edu ((college station)

Thanks for the recomendation, we'll be tuning in to check it out! :hi:

I love internet radio. I always hated moving just because I would lose my fave stations. Now they are all on the internet and I can listen anytime. Takes me back to the good old days of listening to eclectic AOR radio. I don't miss commercial radio.

edit because a bandaged finger leads to exciting mispellings.
