I guess I should say that I think it is always a good idea to 'capitalize' on human rights issues. And how police deal with the citizenry is such an excellent/critical human rights issue, imho.

This is an excellent, teachable moment, for a very important matter.

The intellectual should have been smart enough to stfu until after the fact, then call his buddy the prez... AFTER filing the appropriate paperwork with the appropriate authorities and nailing the dumbass who abused his power.
