Washington Rep. Reichert joins ranks of cowardly Birther supporters

Reichert: Obama is a citizen "until proven otherwise"
In a fuller version of his encounter with blogger Mike Stark, GOP Rep. Dave Reichert says he is rooting for President Barack Obama to succeed, but ducks and weaves when asked if he believes our 44th president was born in the United States.

A vocal minority on the right has questioned documents presented to show that Obama was born in Hawaii and not outside the country.

"I believe he is a natural born citizen of this country until proven otherwise. I want to see the evidence," Reichert told Stark.
