Like this somehow disproves the dreaded Al Gore.

Sigh.........

Should I tell him it's not global warming but global climate change? Nahhh. Forget it. Why should he listen to me when he's got Billo, GlenO and Hannity telling him "the truth".

5. You might agree with him, then remind him it's 104 in
Seattle. I think that may be a record or very close to a record high. Changing weather is a daily occurrence, changing climate is a long term occurrence.

8. June was a relatively cool month for Phoenix...
July is not only the hottest July on record it will end up being the hottest month EVER in Phoenix.

Last month some RW idiot wrote a ltte mocking global warming because it was 'cool' in AZ... I wonder what that fool is saying this month? :eyes:

10. Was he crowing about the micro burst right up against the western suburbs last Monday
We certainly weren't. We lost that enormous, old cottonwood and found nothing to crow about.

And then there was that tornado warning in Queens, NY the other day.

Your friend is a huge jerk.

11. I don't think they realize that unseasonably COOL weather can be a product of global warming too.
But if they don't want to believe it, they don't have to. The beauty of it is, they'll be long dead before the Earth fries us all, so no eating crow!

14. It's been raining in North Texas so we have had unusually cool weather.
It's been very hot and dry in South Texas. What does this prove? Nothing, because it has nothing to do with global warming. Global warming is a rapid rise in global temperatures and has nothing to do with local variations in temperature. Why is this so difficult to understand if you have any brains.

15. When the Northeast is getting Seattle-type weather and
Seattle is getting temperatures approaching 100 degrees, I would say there's some serious global climate change happening.

But what the hell

these people only live in their own little corners of the world...

17. We were chuckling about that very topic here in Greeley
as we moved from the patio to inside the coffee shop where it was warmer. Small room, close proximity to other customers, we're wondering aloud why some folks just don't get the 'climate change' thing -- we got glared at. Heh.
