although I've seen many comments here and there about how Sarah hasn't been wearing her wedding ring and about how Todd was just kind of left standing momentarily on the stage last weekend in Fairbanks while she just hustled herself off somewhere.

I'm really curious how this will play out.

ed. Gryphen in an update reminds us of this from Norah O'Donnell's report from Fairbanks last Sunday:

After swearing in the new governor, Palin made a quick exit with daughter Piper and son Trigg in tow. She jumped in a Chevy Silverado twin cab driven by her security detail.

Todd Palin followed just seconds behind, and was left struggling to avoid a phalanx of cameras. The problem: His family had already left.

I've reviewed all pictures I took at the picnic in Anchorage last Saturday, and I don't see Todd anywhere near Sarah in any of them. In fact, I don't have a picture of him at all. That's not to say he wasn't there, I just didn't happen to see him.

7. I've read the blogs and the comments,

and the "report" of Sarah buying land in Montana was a joke - you say the name of the "real estate firm" handling the "purchase," and it's a joke - an old one, but a good one.

I'm not beyond thinking this is one of Sarah's tricks, ,just to drum up publicity, and then a chance to show how "picked on" her family is by the Big Bad Media.

I'll just wait and see.

As someone pointed out during the campaign, "If Sarah Palin looked like Golda Meir, we wouldn't be having this conversation."

8. Exactly.

I'm not accepting it as fact, either, but it's some pretty interesting speculation. By the way, I looked through Mudflats' photos of the Anchorage event, and I don't see Todd in any of those either. If he was there, he seemed to be keeping a pretty low profile.

Unfortunately, she looks like Sarah Palin, so we're stuck with it.

It's clear something is going on to make her a bigger wreck than usual, though.

Her recent behavior can only be described as bizarre.

I know that part of why I read about her is to see what goofiness she's either done or spouted. The woman has no center, no intellectual capacity, no rational political philosophy, and is as erratic as those spiders on acid.

But, I also think she'll do anything to stay in the spotlight, so I'm curious to see what happens next.

One thing remains, though - we keep talking about her...............................

4. So, I'll have a go with specualation. She wanted to 'further' her career and Todd

didn't want to leave Alaska. Or .. she fell in love with her seat partner on one of her flights. To tell the truth - I hadn't heard anything about a divorce, when I read it just now, the very first thing that popped into my head (which has a high change of being accurate for me) - is the baby. Something related to the baby.

I wonder where the kids will end up and I do feel sorry for them.

So that's it for me. I'm not a Palin follower. Let me know when someone knows the story and where she lives and which children go with her. IF ... IF THIS IS ALL TRUE.

6. You may be right about the move.

When there was that talk about them moving to the Hamptons or whatever, that just seemed odd to me since Todd seems so tied to Alaska and, from what I've seen at least, is not a big city kind of guy. Gryphen seems pretty sure of his sources, so .... we'll see.

13. Moving to the Hamptons? You mean on Long Island?

Now that is just downright weird.

While compared to other parts of NY, Long Island can be pretty conservative, the Hamptons sure aren't. She'd be right in the belly of the "Hollywood elite" beast. She might even run into Ashley Judd or David Letterman there!! :rofl:
