I don't think it's been updated since it was created.

Hard to believe their site gets more traffic than ours, 148,000 vs 83,000 hits per day.

3. Hits don't mean crap, I keep saying it

What matters is how many visits and page views by distinct external visitors.

One page will generate one or more hits, depending on how many images it loads, for instance buttons, icons, and all the stuff on top and around it.

A high hit number may simply mean a poorly designed Web site.
