Garcia, I loved him. I got a Grateful Dead story, just a little one. Back in the late seventies, I thought I was going to have to miss a concert I had a ticket for(planned for months), due to my Granny's funeral. After the funeral, I drove a long way just to finally make it to a very packed concert hall, and even though I made it, I didn't think I would be able to find my boyfriend and friends, with the crowd pushing the whole time. But I DID! I think it was the Dead's good vibes, I really do! Years later, I saw Jerry with a jazz band at the Armadillo world in Austin! There will never be another Jerry Garcia!!
