Nothing that happens with the Palin's marriage is any of my business
unless hopefully she is the nominee, then we are able to say we are running against a candidate who "quit as governor and failed as both a wife and a mother."

A sweet little ole lady planted at a Palin town hall meeting asking, "Sarah, we just love you and you talk so much about family values, which is what this country needs, you said you are going home this weekend. Could you tell us dear, what will you, your husband and children be doing at home this weekend?"

1. So if they're really divorcing it's because Sarah "failed" as a wife and mother?"
Huh

2. Unless Todd runs for something, in which case it would be because HE failed.
Stick around, you'll get the hang of it.

5. Doesn't matter, it's a great attack especially with their base.
remember a good campaign makes your opponent wish they had never run, a great campaign makes your opponent wish they had never been born.

4. Well, but if it's not that, then MJackson gets the headlines,
or something else celebrity-like, which then gives them an excuse not to discuss the real issues everyone cares about.

6. It's the hypocrisy. If you make your personal life a public issue, game on.
They want to tell you how you should live your life, all the while doing in private the exact opposite of what they are saying.

She's the Godly Family Values person. She made it an issue. She made her family part of her political life.

Fair game.

All of it.

7. If she hadn't made it public we would have, that would become our job once the campaign starts.

8. It's only newsworthy because of her superior
religious and moral values. If she'd been a sinner like the rest of us, it wouldn't be newsworthy at all.
