All this conspiracy shit about your computer & phones & taking your guns, euthanasia & on & on is exactly the same crap they did with Clinton & to a extent where they could with Carter too. It's intended to rile/motivate the base. Fox is leading the charge on this shit.

1. Fear and fear and fear and it is all replayed ad infinitum by the echo chamber
so it really gets drilled into everyone's psyche

2. It's comical. The RW didn't give a goddam rat's ass about how Bush
trampled our rights for 8 years, and now they're all het up about it. Truly pathetic.

3. Yes, that's what I was thinking. The NSA thing, starting THE bogus war of all time
that has ending up being the most expensive "peace keeping" (what they hated the worst in the past) mission in history.....

4. I wrote an LTTE calling our the local righties over their bitching
I wrote this letter to the editor calling out the local right wing over their bitching about their freedoms being taken away. These clowns weren't anywhere to be seen when Bush was wiping his ass with the Constitution, in fact when we said something we got called traitors and un-American by this same band of hypocrites.

7. I have noticed.....
This is the dialogue that was almost entirely absent during Baby Bush's presidency. It becomes even more piquant when you recall that Bush actually had the NSA tapping our phones, how he got some of the internet providers to break into our email boxes and release copies of the contents to his "security" apparatus, and the cellular phone companies to co operate in releasing information about us. And let us not forget his signing statements, torture policies, Cheney's plan to have the military arrest "terror suspects" in the U.S. There was also the complete abandonment of constitutional rights. the suspension of Habeas Corpus and military tribunals without benefit of consultation with lawyers for the defendants directed at the "detainees", and later I expect to anyone in the U.S. who disagreed with him if he could have gotten away with it.

Bush and his cohorts were instrumental in the muzzling of and giving bribes to news gathering and reporting organizations to suppress news adverse to the Bushies and promote the Bush agenda. Bush also approved and condoned the physical attacks on peaceful dissenters and demonstrators. He once stated at a press conference with a foreign leader that he wished he could control the news reported here as well as the leader controlled the press in his country. It went out over a national feed on CNN and no one in the media even commented. I think it was Putin he was sharing the mic with, but I'm not positive.

There is so much more that the Republicans actually did, that I could type for three days and not cover all of it. The point of this recitation, is that the conservatives now seem to be accusing Obama and the Democrats of doing the the things that the conservatives actually did and condoned when they were doing it themselves. I find this extremely ironic and hypocritical, especially when they were making the same accusations to administrations prior to Baby Bush. Do you suppose they were giving it the sniff test to see how people would react and planning for their own future actions even then?
