They had a contest on the CBC,vote for the Greatest Canadian. He won.

5. Yes, honestly.
From what I have read, the entrenched interests in Canada fought universal health care just as hard as our own entrenched interests here in the U.S. Nobody gives up power voluntarily. Getting real health care reform is bound to be a struggle, in every nation.
