My brother is voting against the union....
and why would you think the reason would be??? because the union supports obama. that's the reason. the reason he would screw over all his coworkers and himself. how is it possible that i am related to this man!! well, when the company screws him over again on raises next year and bonus and everything else, i don't want to hear a damn thing from him about it. he deserves it if he would vote based on his dislike of the president that was elected and the fact that the IBEW supports him.

1. Every family has one
Mine is a cousin and nobody's speaking to him.

Just think, from now on, every time he bitches about his job, you can tell him "I told you so" and "you did it to yourself, fool."

2. Well, I'm sorry that he feels that way, but IBEW organizing drives rarely ever fail.
So he'll just have to live with the better working conditions, more pay and more time off.

Please extend my greetings to him on behalf of the New York City Central Labor Council.

6. this is their second attempt. they failed to get a union by five votes last time...
two of which were my brother and brother in law. my husband, brother and brother in law all work for the same company in the same area. I hope that is not the ONLY reason he isn't voting for the union. i guess my BIL is voting against it too. funny thing is... nyc area of the company DID go union, and they went through this whole thing at the end of the year where no one was getting raises and no bonuses. they finally caved on the bonuses worried that they might end up with a union on their hands, but no one got raises.... except NYC.

3. If the union wins out and the workers get higher wages, will your brother
turn down those higher wages?
