according to the beliefs of the Family or the Fellowship, he was indoctrinated into their group after he was arrested for cocaine and a DWI. He went to live in one of their homes in San Diego and came out "born again". You can thank the Fellowhip for Faith Based Initiatives, and many other things that Bush did as President. His family has been involved with that organizationfor generations.

It should be 133 C Street, SE, Washington, DC.

But, I suspect people will find it either way.

I wonder if he'll publish the address of their place across the river in Arlington?

THAT would be interesting, since it's in a neighborhood not really amenable to traffic or sightseers.

From what I've read, to get that kind of rent in DC you'd have to move into some really bad neighborhoods. Or suck up to "The Family"

you could maybe rent a room in a very far outlying suburb, but, no, not even in the worst neighborhoods of DC could you find a deal like these guys get.

Ivanwald (for men) is located at 2224 24th Street North, and is also owned by Fellowship Foundation, Inc. This house was bought in 1986 by Jerome A. Lewis and Co. who sold it to Wilberforce Foundation in 1987. In 2007, Wilberforce sold it to Fellowship Foundation, Inc. for $1 million. Jerome A. Lewis and Wilberforce Foundation are significant to this story; more details later.

I'd love to see a well made documentary on this evil cancer in DC. Maybe there has been one done already? But if MM took it on, it would have at least some MSM attention. So much hypocritical humor to be mined, MM would be perfect to craft a deep exposure of this twisted den of iniquity.

I started reading Doonesbury when I was in college in the early 70s. I continued to read up to day. It has been a great 30 some years. Amazing how Trudeau keeps it fresh and entertaining.
