Rightist crowds are so funny in a way. I love the inverted "R" on someone's sign, mimicking a Cyrillic font, as if Russian still means "socialist" anyway... These people are so in the past.

Separately, Doggett issued this statement today about Saturday’s event:

This mob, sent by the local Republican and Libertarian parties, did not come just to be heard, but to deny others the right to be heard. And this appears to be part of a coordinated, nationwide effort. What could be more appropriate for the “party of no” than having its stalwarts drowning out the voices of their neighbors by screaming “just say no!” Their fanatical insistence on repealing Social Security and Medicare is not just about halting health care reform but rolling back 75 years of progress. I am more committed than ever to win approval of legislation to offer more individual choice to access affordable health care. An effective public plan is essential to achieve that goal.

Their "handbook" is very specific in the technique.. Interrup, often and loudly..talk OVER the other person, and gobble up all the allotted time. It does not matter if they are making any sense.. It's about depriving the other side from being heard.. They are time-bandits

and spew and spew and spew as loud as they can.

Nobody is forcing THEM to listen...but they are DENYING us our right to listen.

And for the record, Doggett is my most favorite of all.
He is the one that they targeted the most heavily in the redistricting and he STILL beat them motherfuckers.

Oh I hate these folks...more and more each day.:(

Lets hope they all stay healthy and don't lose their jobs or homes. Then they will be screaming for something else - because they will have the insurance cob stuck up their asses.
