Jones and Davis File Forged "Kenyan" Birth Certificate In Their Federal Case Against Obama

Submitted by .Sean on August 3, 2009 - 7:56am
New documents filed Friday in federal court for Rep. Tim Jones, Rep. Cynthia Davis and their fellow birther plaintiffs demand authentication of a new "Kenyan" birth certificate their lawyer claims to have received from an anonymous source. In the filing, lawyer/dentist/realtor Orly Taitz demands the right to subpoena Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and request documents from Kenya. According to Taitz, the filed document "bears none of the obvious traits of a hoax."

Here's one problem with the document, allegedly dated February 17, 1964, that Jones and Davis may want to check out: Kenya didn't become a republic until December 1964.

UPDATE: Karl Rove says the document is "likely a forgery."

2. I didn't realise elected representatives had signed on to Orly's PR stunt

Are they supremely confident their electorate is collectively thick as a few hundred thousand short planks, or have they already decided not to stand at the next election?

4. What if it was true?
It still wouldn't mean dipshit. His mother was American and he is considered a citizen no matter where he is born. Isn't that what our law states?

7. It certainly would be if someone were to present this in Federal court for their own purposes;
I don't see why the SCOTUS decision I read would not apply here as well.

8. If they knowingly present false documents in a court of law?
Yeah I'm guessing that would be against the law. It's the same as lying under oath.
