Get ready for the Media "Framing"
Because here it comes.

There is nothing our 24 hour media likes more than a "rowdy crowd". Remember how the Tom Delay staffers attacking the election board in Florida morphed into "angry American citizens demand end to recount"???? Please tell me you remember that.

Today, Faux News is breathlessly pushing a couple of wingnuts screaming at Senator Spectre and Kathleen Sebilius (sp) "demanding that they stop health care reform".

We ignore this stuff at our peril, which is why I propose a march on Washington, demanding that the Congress, once and for all, pass comprehensive health care reform.

If this "shit" is not countered, then you're going to see brethless 24 hour news loops that are the equivalent of the woman screaming and waving her Birth Certificate around. Before you know it, the "news" will be that "average angry American citizens" demand that the health care reform bill be defeated.

Some say that screaming at each other will ruin the debate, but you know what...if you only let one side do the screaming, if all you hear is one side of the debate...well, that's not much of a debate now, is it?

1. How do corporations to do this
To protest against things that are for their own best interest.

Yeah, I am going to go out and protest to protect some fucking corporation who wants to take all my money. It's bullshit.

2. It's the Right Wing Noise Machine in action
The 24/7/365 talk radio wingnuts get their folks all worked up into a frenzy with lies and distortions. The "town hall" is only one such avenue for this vocal minority to seize the debate.

How many of you have been at a PTA meeting and found yourself forced to listen to some lame-ass Ditto-head prattle on using the exact same lie and distortions they learned from the radio?

This is why the absolute and complete monopoly of AM talk radio simply must be removed. It is a cancer on our political discourse. I think it is way past time for some "Fairness Doctrine" chemo.

4. That's not the point
It's the digital age equivalent of "the squeeky wheel gets the grease".

You know how you stop this shit, or at least get the "pro-reform" side a fair shot of the news?? The next time one of these wingnut idiots starts spewing their Glen Beck, Rush Limpballs, or Sean Insanity drivel, walk over and break a chair right over their teeth.

When the media asks you why you did it, just say, I want to make sure that the American people know that I am in support of Health Care reform.
