7. Tammy Faye had her faults
but I don't think she ever went out her way to be willfully hateful or ignorant. My attitude toward Tammy Faye changed a lot when she was taking phone calls one time and some self righteous religious nut type called in (apparently expecting praise from Tammy) about how she had cut her gay son off completely. Tammy Faye told her that she thought if there was one sin Jesus wouldn't forgive it would be not accepting & loving your child as he is.
