18. Two ways:
When you're in General Discussion or whatever forum and you see all the threads listed, there's a box with an X in it at the end of each thread. Just click on that box.

Or, if you have already opened the thread, you'll see the "Hide Thread" link at the bottom left of the original post. Just click on that.

4. I didn't hide them, but I made the concious decision NOT to
click on any of them. If a lot of threads are posted and they simply sink like a rock, the stupidity will soon stop!

5. I posted a sarcastic one, but in retrospect ...
I should have just waited for the whole non-issue to go away.

7. Well I suppose he can take it
After all the republiCONS have been swiftboating Hillary Clinton for 15 years and she has survived and she is sure out front and kicking. That's what the rest of the democratic candidates should do...give it right back to them.

President off to Washington, Hillary remains in New York as commuter marriage begins

January 6, 2000
Web posted at: 2:05 a.m. EST (0705 GMT)

CHAPPAQUA, New York (CNN) -- The moving vans are being unpacked, and on Thursday, President Bill Clinton heads back to Washington, leaving first lady Hillary Rodham Clinton to settle into their new home and prepare for her campaign for the New York Senate.

It is the start of a modern commuter marriage, with the first lady setting up a new home in a white $1.7 million house in a cul-de-sac in the wealthy hamlet north of New York City, while her husband remains at the White House. On Wednesday, the Clintons had their first meal at the new house, where they both plan to live after Clinton leaves office in January, 2001.

Their furniture and other goods arrived from Washington in two moving vans. "Like any new homeowners, they're excited," White House spokesman Joe Lockhart said after the couple arrived. Joining them was Mrs. Clinton's mother, Dorothy Rodham.

Snip ......

11. You'll be missing out.
From the 1st 4 pages of GD as of 8pm est:

Appx. 40+ threads swiftboating those swiftboating JE

Appx. 7 or 8 critical of JE

Appx 3 polls

A few excellent posts about global warming not necessarily related to JE.

JE isn't being swiftboated. People here are entitled to look critically at the actions of Democratic contendors for President.

It's just funny that the majority of posts are really people angry that the subject of JE's new house is up for scrutiny. These same people posting in defense of JE are the ones generating the most attention to the subject.

It's okay... we're all Dems at heart.

Peace

It is my policy to hide any thread with house in the title. Or any pro or con thread about the same subject. It takes a bit of time but well worth it.

19. It depresses me that we are that petty and ridiculous on DU.
That was a smear on a man who actually gives a shit. If those attacks on him are a sample of the nonsense on DU, I'm moving on.
