meetings. Wow, shades of Watergate. They haven't changed a bit in 30+ yrs. And we have some here who want us to pal around with Palin. Will they ever learn?

2. Why not do like Shrub and just talk to
screened crowds and keep the protesters behind a fence a mile away.

3. Maybe we should post all town halls and show up
Edited on Mon Aug-03-09 08:42 PM by Merlot
I'll start:

Date: Tuesday, August 11, 2009
Time 7:00 - 8:30 pm

Place: Alhambra (California) Civic Center Library
Community Room
101 S. First Street
Alhambra, CA 91801

Congressman Adam Schiff - supposidly a supporter of health care reform, but I've left two messages and sent emails asking his vote and have been told he hasn't decided yet. To which I say "WTF?" you don't get to decide what's "best" for us, you get to do what WE want. Read the polls.

5. You should start a new thread for people to post town hall info.
I'll add Arlen Specter's scheduled meetings. His meeting in Philadelphia got pretty nasty.

6. Time to take the LARGE magic markers and poster boards out...
Make a "balloon" which contains in large lettering.... "I'M A DISRUPTER, NOT FROM THE DISTRICT" and stand behind these people when the media takes pictures.

Go right up to the disrupter and ask, "are you from this district?"

10. We think alike. My thought was a balloon stating "I am a tool for insurance company CEOs"
Or if you can't get close, get one of those big foam hands with the pointer figure extended, and point to the disruptor.

11. Hey, large fingers and poster board hybrid idea-
The finger with large lettering can point to a disrupter with, "See Dick Talk for Insurance Co's", then the poster board behind disrupter, "Dick".

Short, to the point, and gets in the double entente for the news cycle!

(I should cross post this in activist forum)

13. The Brooks Brothers mob from '00 election..don't forget that little piece of stagecraft
republicans are great at "releasing the hounds", and the beauty of it is that the hounds only follow..they need not even really understand why they are doing it..

The Miami Mob at least had real congressional connections.. their jobs depended on them shutting down the election. The loonies now are just doing it for something to do..and for stuff to write about in their blogs:(

15. I REALLLLLy do not like this un-rec thingie..at all
Why not just bypass a thread "you don't like"? and bump up the total to get to greatest to 25?..

It's disheartening to find some piece of news that's non-controversial..and within seconds of posting it, it has a <0 on it....

Personally, I never go to the Greatest or Home pages, buy I know that some here "live & die" based on what's on those pages:)
