I say this with all due apologies to DU's well loved TahitiNut.

But Nut Radio describes all the right wing crazies. To call their milieu "talk radio" is put a benign spin on something which is the antithesis of benign.

2. Okay, we all get that someone didn't like this. But why not say WHY?
Saying why teaches.

Staying anonymous allows to smell the fumes of your red ass as you run away, head covered and eyes averted..

4. I Started Calling It Hate Radio 20 Years Ago...
Saw it from the inside, saw what the corporates were trying to do...incite hate and anger. I've always used it in my 7 years here on DU and see some others have picked up on it.

The other misnomer is "MSM"...it is far from "Mainstream" as its owned and dominated by those who earn far more than the "mainstream" and whose real interest is to perpetuate a corporate line or power. Looks like the "corporate media" tag finally took hold here. Far truer definition.

The nice thing of the internet, you don't have to accept what others define.
