Holy Shit, The Freepers Are Nuts... (Freeper Classic)
Responding to their disappointment in Glenn Beck, who tells Michelle Malkin...

"I have to tell you, the – I mean, first of all, the birther thing, what are you going to do. Even if it was true, what, are you going to take him out of office?" he said today. "You can't do that."

Even if it was true, what, are you going to take him out of office?

Yes, Glenn, we will.

We are also going to hold accountable EVERY SINGLE democrat that has been complicit in this travesty. Names are being taken now. Count on it.

1. Proud to be one of the "staggering number of Leftists" in on the conspiracy
If FR goes through with this laughable threat, I'll be proud to offer up my full legal name.

present it in text...

5. I love it so much that I know it has mechanisms within it to allow for change and adaptation
Then again, that guy probably preferred the original where only some people had power....

8. Actually, it's an archaic document that's become an impediment to responsible government
Edited on Mon Aug-03-09 11:18 PM by depakid
in the 21sr Century and CANNOT practicably be Amended to adapt to changing times or to fix dysfunctional Supreme Court decisions.

In other words- it's structurally crippled the nation and doomed it to the corrupting influence of corporate money (among other things).

There are very good reasons why no other nation besides the Philippines and Liberia use it as a model (and even in those two countries, it came about as an historical artifact)

21. It's a structural problem that's created a level of corruption
the likes of which can only be "bested" in the third world or Asian nations. In addition, it's decidedly undemocratic- in that less than 20% of the population's representatives can block actions favored by 80% -meaning that it's now extremely difficult for the government to take necessary actions in a timely manner.

And that's not fixable, due to the huge supermajority requirements in the Article VI Amendment process. So- as long as Buckely v. Valeo (corporate money = free speech) is the law of the land- which it will be, the system of legalized bribery will remain intact- and the nation will continue its decline.

"You are either with us or you are against us."

No quarter. There will be proverbial blood in the water before this is over. I am NOT settling anymore and I know hundreds like me. We are tired of the Rodney King Conservatives. This will destroy all fence sitters or those on the wrong side. Me, it has reached the point where I have more to lose by not acting than letting it pass.

23. They're pissed at O'Reilly too...
Bill O'Reilly: "If I wanted to know, I'd find out tomorrow. I don't care."

"Another blathering buffoon mocking those of us who want to see Hussein's BC."

"BOR is a loudmouth, nothing more. I once watched his show but considering he rarely lets his guests complete a sentence, he is nothing but annoying and looking for ratings."

"Hey Bill, if I want to see how big an idiot you are, I’d watch your show..."

I watched the O'Reilly video segment these guys are all upset about. He said that if the Repubs want to get back into office, they need to quit wasting time on crap like this, and start coming up with better ideas.

Billo actually made sense, was not mean-spirited, or condescending. Freepers don't like it when their faux news guys are coherent.
