these fake protests & how "most americans" are unhappy with Obama. It's going to be a looooong hot August. Reminds me of August of 2004.

1. And this is exactly what we expected to see happening
when the Blue Dogs led the fight to extend "discussion" on health care reform. The Right wasn't interested in a discussion - the GOP isn't interested in a discussion. And so now it is just about people screaming, no real questions asked, and bullying and intimidation.

None of this surprises me at all.

2. All most of us care about is the substance - the rest is worthless noise
on both sides.

3. This gives us a chance to bring HR676 back from the grave.
The more they argue about what has already been debated, the more the arguments fall apart. That whole House bill is byzantine and the Senate bill is pretty much what we have now. All it does is rearrange the deck chairs. The purpose of the fake protest is to provide distractions from the real issue. We need to out them every time they do this. We have our talk show radio and TV hosts doing battle about the astroturf and we have to back them up. Now we have to write LTTE during August explaining why Medicare for all is the only solution and we have to do it in clear terms with all the questions answered like about funding, which seems to be what everyone is worrying about.

4. If the GOP manage to make it not about how great the program is but about
the loud outbursts at town halls then we've lost. We have to get the narrative back to how great health care will be under obama.
