I do hope everyone is watching the protesters at the health care town halls

and learning. This is how you fight something. I hope it's not for a long time but the odds are there will be more republican presidents and we will be the ones trying to stop something. And like I said this is how you fight something.

I'm half expecting them to bring molotov cocktails to the next one.

I support passionately fighting something, and I believe we can take a lesson in coordinating attendance to these sessions. (I'm a bit embarrassed that their numbers are better than ours.)

But I absolutely DO NOT AGREE with their tactics. Their purpose is to stifle debate, and they are armed with lies, misinformation and distortions that keep people misinformed and from learning the truth.

I do believe that controlled confrontation and Civil Disobedience has its place, unfortunately, the media is as much OUR enemy as it appears to be the right's ally.

But these people are making me frightened for the state of our democracy. These people are scary. And the fact that the companies are just running roughshod over the people with impunity frightens me enormously.

We need to take our country back from these powerful people. I'm not sure if that's going to be possible, but I can hope.
