Obama nominates first black U.S. attorney in Alabama history.

WASHINGTON -- President Barack Obama has chosen congressional staffer Kenyen Brown to be the next U.S. attorney for the Mobile-based Southern District of Alabama, the White House announced Thursday evening.

If confirmed by the Senate, Brown would be the first black U.S. attorney in Alabama history, according to U.S. Rep. Artur Davis, with responsibility for federal criminal and civil cases in a 13-county swath of the state ranging from Mobile to Perry. He currently works for the House ethics committee as director of advice and education.

Not because he is black but because President Obama is actually filling these positions. Many of the positions were not filled by the previous ass in chief.

10. The US attorney for So. Ala. was filled by Bush.

Her name was Deborah Rhodes.
She did not even have a law license for the state of Ala.

the Middle District of Ala. STILL has the Bush US Attorney there. Very connected to Rove.
