A few days ago there were items here about how General Electric (owner of NBC/MSNBC) and News Corp (owner of Faux) held a summit meeting in May, mediated by Charlie ROSE (power licker), deriving from both parent companies having concluding that their two jousting champions were hurting the parent companies financially with their attacks on each other and on the big bosses by names. Supposedly, this resulted in a handshake agreement that the attacks by the two would cease on June 1.
Well, tonight I'm pretty sure I heard Keith loosing O'LOOFAH's name trippingly off his tongue, might even have been a Worst Person silver or bronze. But later on the O'LOOFAH rerun, O'LOOFAH was definitely mentioning (NBC boss?) Jeffrey IMELT(sp) by name, and doing it with his trademark twisting of truth. He said that, outrage of outrage, "some NBC outlet" (MSNBC?) had ATTACKED Lou DOBBS by insulting "his Hispanic wife and children."
This was about DOBBS's Birthiness, and O'LOOFAH claimed to leave room for disagreeing with DOBBS on the Birthy thing but NOT by ATTACKING the wife and children.
There have been a few or more threads here POINTING OUT that there is some kind of does-not-compute or inexplicable irony between DOBBS's antipathy to Hispanics (not just "illegals" or undocumented) and his being married to a Hispanic. The clips from NBC were not ATTACKS on the wife and children, just POINTING OUT (repeat 2nd half of previous sentence).
Anyway, do these exchanges amount to breaking the Media Corporation Accord of May, 2009? I haven't been watching either Keith or O'LOOFAH that closely for the past month, so I can't tell whether the two have been mentioning each other at all or in little bits or full out.
