Planes, Trains, and Automobiles was his best film.
It's what we watch on Thanksgiving.

5. Didn't feature Sean Young naked and therefore are inferior films

6. Sean Young?
I think you mean P.J. Soles. Although I would have liked to see "more" of Sean Young in Stripes.

The special edition of the DVD has extra scenes with much "more" of P.J. Soles.

Totally worth the nine bucks from Amazon.

3. I think I probably agree - but
having Steve Marin and John Candy helping out didn't hurt.

9. I Don't Know, I Think Ferris Bueller Held Up Amazingly Well
But mostly, I'm thankful for the soundtracks. If nothing else they stand as a historical record of what alternative music in the 1980s was about - and it sure as shit wasn't Soundgarden.

10. Hated "Planes, Trains..."
of course it didn't help that I was watching it while on the opposite side of the country from where I live, while on an assignment I didn't want to have.

My favorites were "Ferris Bueller" and "16 Candles" ("I'm kinda like the leader. Kinda like the king of the dipshits.")
