Teabag riots

Would like to see a little message unity/coordination for once on this side of the fence.

Would be good to refer to all instances of unrest at town hall meetings as "teabag riots." Last night's bit in Florida, for example - the Tampa teabag riot.

This helps associate the terms "teabag" and "riot" - i.e. physical violence, disorder, obnoxiousness - in the public mind. Thereby discrediting the teabaggers with the great swath of middle Americans who aren't following this so closely.

As the late 1960s showed, whatever else they may want, middle Americans wants order (or "law and order") more than anything. Then, it was the lefties who were disorderly - and Nixon used that as a political weapon, and it helped discredit the left for a long time. The same opportunity exists here for us, now - especially as the teabag violence escalates.

I was calling them health care hooligans. But I like teabag riots, or teabag rioters.

might be a more accurate term : - )))
