We are about to find out if the Democrats have grown balls...

I well remember November 2000 .. in Miami .. when votes were being recounted and it looked like Al Gore might pull it out.. What happened? Republican aparatchicks stormed the office the recount was being held and intimidated the officials and shut the recount down...

Now 9 years later ... looking like we may FINALLY get health care reform .. ( I LOVE republican and industry stooges yelling whats the rush when we have been trying to get this since 1947).. Many democrats are going home to talk to there constituents ( or trying to ) and whats happening???? Same thing as in November 2000 Miami.. How the party responds to this will show IF we will get health care or have to wait another 16 years!!

ps. It's not a compliment to say "that's awfully white of you" to a black person.

5. LOL - good point
But doesn't the 'balls' expression transcend gender now?

I am female and rather oversensitive to gender-loaded comments, and I don't mind it. It seems to be used to refer to both genders nowadays.

4. The insurance companies got the mandate they wanted in all the bills so far.
The Dems are getting more money from the insurance industry than the Repos are.

So I'm not sure what winning or losing means.
