68 Acres Manure--Jo Daviess County, IL

New information from the Illinois State Geologic Survey shows that the land for the propoosed Mega-Dairy operation that a California company wants to build lies over a "karst" area, thus exposing residents of the area to irreversible pollution.

Interestingly, the county voted against it last year, but the Agriculture Department overrode them. Their "representative" Sacia took a nice trip to California to view the enterprise there and delared it to be fine. The Farm Bureau also supported it.

This new information may change all that support.

Jo Daviess County is the most beautiful county in Illinois with rolling hills and historical significance. Imagine a 68 acre manure pit on this land:
