Are there road and bridge repair stimulus projects going on where you live?
They are all around here. Everywhere you look some company is fixing roads and bridges. Lot of people working.

Republicans piss away our money to blow up roads and bridges somewhere. Democrats use it to build roads and bridges.

CONSTRUCTION:

$2,800,000 for the Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) for bitiminous concrete resurfacing and aggregate wedges from east of Lowe Road to west of IL 1 and IL 17 intersection in Kankakee County.

$1,380,976 or the Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) for Irwin to west of Kankakee.

$3,900,000 or the Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) for US45/52 in Bourbonnais to IL 50 in Bradley.

TOTAL: $16,282,560

we have a few building trades projects up here in western northern illinois but not a lot of road construction. there`s over 6000 unemployed in my unemployment office area...that`s a lot of people who will never find work for years

It's not a big surprise that Illinois gets more than its fair share. :hi:
