There are other ways to reach voters who have legitimate questions besides town hall meetings

Radio, TV, meetings with small neighborhood groups in private homes.

Why not use them? :shrug:

2. My rep has been doing telephone town halls

He's done two in the last few weeks on Health Care. Makes a lot of sense to me as he has to fly cross country to come home. I am going to another Rep's town hall next week to be a warm body of support.

One with a chair person or moderator who knows how to do it right?

Proper planning, security, pre-notification of law enforcement people, enforcement of fire codes, and all that?
