Idea: Congress folk could do an online "forum" to discuss health care reform

A speech about the angles they're looking at and then the public can email questions and then the rep has a follow-up with answers.

in my district 24 NY today.. He was pretty good on the part of explaining that the myths created in the media and rw were totally false.

could be hijacked by the wingers. They've nearly completely taken over the comments boards on our local newspaper's online edition; they have several people who apparently spend all day taking turns in responding to articles and comments. One of their favorite tricks is cutting and pasting large articles from rightwing sites, often exceeding the size limit and thus posting several times to get the entire thing posted. Once they've posted the final section, they wait a few minutes and then post a new comment to the effect that the left/libruls/socialists/Obamaniacs aren't interested in real discussion because they aren't responding to the cut-and-paste. It would take a number of us working fulltime to respond to all the crap they post, and we simply have lives that require our presence elsewhere.
