I wonder how the MOB thugs would feel if someone stood up during a sermon at church
and started challenging the preacher on his greed-based religious practices? What if several tried to get into an auditorium and started screaming so loud no one could hear? What if we packed it to standing room only, and had people screaming at the doors because they couldn't get inside because of the fire code?

9. No. But I'm just imagining it. I wonder if there is a similar law in Texas.
Nt that I'd do it, but it might give alot of them a taste of their own medicine.

2. I've always wanted to try that. Wish I had the nerve to walk into a very large church that preaches ...
the 'prosperity' doctrine and start talking back.

10. Our pastor usually includes a response section
So standing up and yelling would be sort of superfluous. If you had a comment or an objection to something in his sermon, you'd have an opportunity to voice that. And while we have had disruptive types in our services, we usually just let them blow themselves out and go on with what we were doing. Without a reaction, most of the spoiled child types get bored and go home.

This isn't quite the same situation, and I don't know what our congregation might do confronted by a loud angry mob. I hope I never find out, though; I don't think I could face a pot luck that actually ran out of food!
