The cognitive dissonance that is MSNBC
Olbermann, Maddow and Schultz, night after recent night, have been showing how, beyond ANY POSSIBLE DOUBT, these "grassroots spontaneous demonstrations" at summer town hall meetings are coordinated, have links to a clear command and control structure. It is ASTROTURF and it have been essentially proved to be such.

Meanwhile, that bedy eyed fuck, Scarborough is saying it is anything but.

Okay .... pundit vs pundit.

But the news division is asking in that stupid scripted questioning way: "Where is the anger coming from?" "Is there evidence of a controlled play by the right wing?"

Dear NBC ***NEWS*** Division: Report the fact that it is what it has been proved to be. YOUR OWN COMPATRIOTS HAVE PROVED IT.

You dumb fucks .......

2. And in his own state of Florida a town hall turned violent
He ought to be addressing that since it just happened.

3. well,I wouldn't really want them all marching in lock-step.
That would look too much like that other network.

I don't watch morning or daytime MSNBC unless there is a big news event like an inaugural. I really don't like that Morning Meeting character. Instead I listen to NPR or XM's POTUS during the day. I'm pretty informed by the time evening rolls around.

4. Are we all "marching in lockstep" in our agreement that they sky is blue?
Or do we need somebody amongst us here to claim that the sky actually red, so we are fair and balanced?

9. It isn't about lock step. It **is** about facts.
Facts. They used to be the staple of the news. Not stupid "fair and balanced" scripted banter.

Banter is okay on banter shows. On news shows, not so much.

8. There is probably an advantage to getting your message out early...
rather than later. It has all day to simmer and propagate. It is much more difficult at the end of the day to dispute their arguments, imo.

10. If the media had a liberal bias, there would be hour long prime-time specials...
"DEMOCRACY UNDER ATTACK! The outrageous attack on Democracy by giant insurance corporations!"

They would be constantly comparing the coordinated attack on the town hall meetings with the collusion of the British Crown and the Dutch East India Trading Company that led to the Boston Tea party.

Also, SickCo would have been aired on ABC, NBC and CBS a couple of times already.

12. Then there's the rest of MSMBC: true crime and prison porn.
I see MSNBC as a few island of good political reporting amidst a sea of garbage.

13. I see MSNBC as perhaps worse than Faux
Is the evening lineup an indication of them making a turn, or is their daytime lineup their true compass and the evening is a sop for the left that allows us to feel represented and to cheer.
