What the fuck is that supposed to mean?

The only thing I can come up with is that fascism has become a signifier of absolute evil in our political discourse and thus a handy insult. Not only is inaccurate, it is offensive to those who experienced these horrors...that so many people on the right could buy into this line of reasoning does not say much about the level of historical education in this country. It is a false analogy that needs to be countered. The MSM however does not seem capable to correcting this simple falsehood.

...it also seems like a cynical attempt to prey upon people's ignorance of the past. Claiming that we are experiencing a "Weimar moment" for example, when the right has clearly been the most authoritarian and anti-democratic force in this country.

14. I think this goes beyond ignorance of the past or propaganda...
...it's a not-so-subtle call to violence against Obama and against progressive/liberals in general. Yesterday I thought that a good history lesson would clear things up, today I don't think so.
