Town hall meetings and hypocrisy

I don't like what's happening with the shout downs by the right. I also didn't like the same kind of shout downs on the left that we've seen in the past. Hell, the left invented it. Now that the right has started to use this tactic, we should be appalled?

1. How far back in the past are you going? I don't remember the left doing ANYTHING lto this degree.

Sometimes lefties were rude, sometimes they shouted. But to this degree? Death threats? Hanging congressmen in effigy? Jokes about hanging them?

Tancredo was escorted from the room by campus police.

About 200 protesters reconvened outside the building. "We shut him down; no racists in our town," they shouted. "Yes, racists, we will fight, we know where you sleep at night!"

So no, I don't see the difference.

They did not shut down the meeting. They were removed and didn't resist. This is an isolated incident, not a nation wide coordinated effort. And which of these people were people from DU? Because if none of them are, your OP is hog wash. The left is not a monolithic group.

The vitriol coming from the mobs in these town hall shut-downs are significantly worse and more threatening than anything is your video example. Except for the fact that both groups were rude, there is really no comparison between this and what is happening in the town hall meetings.
