in his own home while someone walks around with a gun waiting for the President to show up and no one does anything?

2. Yep. Pretty much sums it up.

Notice that Gates is Black and so is Obama. If the colors were reversed, I think it's safe to bet that Gates wouldn't have been arrested and that the man with the gun strapped to his leg would be under much tighter scrutiny. And if Gates and Obama were Republicans- well, those commie pinkos would be in police custody.
