I attempted a few words when I visited....Thank goodness everyone in Malmo spoke English. I can pick up romance languages, and even Dutch and German, with little trouble....But those Scandinavian langauges? Good golly Mz Molly.

Once you get past the pronunciation it's really close to English. I like the Malmo accent. It's so "potatis in munnen!" (mouthful of potatoes as other Swedish folk say.).
I speak 7 languages. I can't spell worth a damn in most of them including English and I cuss like a sailor in most of them including English. :evilgrin:
I hope I thanked Sven for "the obvious" correctly.
Thats it. I've had it with American Politics. I'm going to move to Europe for a few years and maybe when I come back we will all be united :) hah, Yeah right.
