Why does health care reform - scare the 'bejeezus' out of you?

Do you have health insurance now? Do you get it from your employer? Or do you have to pay your own way? Do you have a family? Kids? Have you prepared for a rainy day - in case you lose your job or have some serious health condition?

Does your wife work? Are you even married? What about her health insurance? Is she covered by your policy or are you covered by hers?

Health Care reform simply scares the hell out of me at least in its current state because of the sneaky things they have put into the bill which are easily found if one simply opens it up and reads it.
These things range from rationing of healthcare, eugenics, a government committee decides what care you get, to the government controlling how much doctors can make.

This is madness, and it will only get worse.




I do have health insurance it comes from my mothers work but this is because she does customer service for an insurance company. I am 16 btw.

As far as I know we have full coverage and are covered should most anything happen.
