9. a reversal of every bush policy would have been necessary to restore my faith in this country

as it stands, the Patriot Act is still in effect, TSA goon squads still are at airports, and police are becoming more and more militarized.

i don't believe in change that doesn't happen.

"Change we can believe in" was just that. something to believe in. the statement didn't say it would happen. excellent marketing there. fantasy.
