Novak: Deal in the works for Supplemental Appropriations Bill

“A bipartisan deal on the supplemental appropriations bill to finance the Iraq war appears to be in the books, with less talk now of a presidential veto and a subsequent crisis over funding the troops in the field. 1. Yea, but Novakula wrote that before bu$hCo extended ALL combat
tours in Afghanistan and Iraq from 12 months to 15 months. Taking a funding cutoff off the table is gonna bite the Dems in the ass.

2. If the Democrats leave the funding "cut off " in the bill eventually
Bush will sign the bill..But I can just hear it now .."Bush wins the battle over Iraq war funding"...
