If you think about it - what the health care protesters really want is more government spending

They don't want the government to curtail treatment for elderly and disabled people. The result of this is more government spending.

On one hand, they don't want government interference, and on the other hand, the result of what they want is the government spending more money.

Let's assume the end of life argument is legitimate. Since they don't want the government to decide which of the elderly should not get treatment, the net result is an increase in government spending. It's ironic they are on the Republicans side, and they want this.

White would cheer them up quite a bit but they'd still be foaming at the mouth pretty good. They were pretty damned done in with Clinton and he was a white, southern, welfare busting, pro-death penalty centrist.

A black guy that is slightly further to the left is not something they can swallow.
