the specter of seeing them being disruptive, obnoxious, and rude for someone else's greed is beyond pathetic.

doesn't add up, does it.

i mean, who would do such a thing?

that is, unless they were getting paid for it, one way or another.

hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm........

3. I hate to use the term "sheeple" but are they anything other than angry, racist sheeple?
1993 is happening all over again, except this time the hatred has racism as a huge motivator as well. How long before the next Oklahoma City bombing, Contract on America, Newt, republican majority..........

I feel like I've been on this ride before.

7. Except that unlike 1993
We have the example of 1993 to remember, and we seem to be a little better-connected and on top of things this time around. While some of this crapola is unarguably aggravating, we're hitting back and hitting back fast. The Senate's caving to the "death panels" nonsense was unfortunate, but I'm betting that end of life counseling will be a feature of the bill that President Obama signs into law later this year.

4. Stupid doesnt need to be paid to act stupidly
Look at the support a monster like Hitler had in his rallies.

They WANT someone to tell them what to think and how to act.

5. Many of them THINK they're fighting for their own greed. A million a day in ads will do that.

6. I see it as a death spasm of a failed conservative movement.
Health care reform has to happen sooner or later, and after it does many people will look back on these over wrought histrionics with a great deal of puzzlement.

9. What's more disgusting is that these people hide behind religion to justify greed
I have had good health care, my parents and grandmother have good health care, and my mom is currently getting great care (I hope :) ) for a kidney stone right now in the hospital. Everybody deserves quality health care on a timely basis, without regard to income.

I wish just one Christian right group would even devise a proposal that could get health care to everybody in this country, rather than simply attack others for trying to come up with a solution. And tax deductions don't count as a solution.

10. I wonder what Rick Warren has to say?
Weren't there some filthy-rich evangelists who had started talking about maybe giving a glance to traditional Christian imperatives ... like caring for the sick, feeding the hungry. As I recall the answers to WWJD ARE in the Bible.

I heard a preacher on one of the MSNBC shows yesterday who was against reform because he had had some brain problem, aneurysm or some such thing, and he needed care within 3 months, which he got. He's concerned that if the medical profession had to start caring for all those uninsured he might not have got HIS operation in time. I guess he's really concerned about those doctors giving away free medical care in Los Angeles taking up what belongs to the paying customers. I wonder how many of his flock who are without health care or underinsured are contributing to his premiums?

Jesus wept.
