Is it just me, or has Jim Webb compiled a hell of a record for a 1st term senator?

A major GI bill, and securing the release of an American prisoner in Myanmar.

I should hope that he is reelected in a comfortable landslide in 2012.

1. Our Senator -

he's a hell of a guy. Just read about his life. Stunning gentleman. Lives not far from us, and has a gorgeous Vietnamese wife, the prettiest little girl.

We're very proud of our Senator Webb.

Our other Democratic Senator, Mark Warner - we're not so sure right now.......................

My gut tells me that he would be a wimp like Reid, backing down every single time from the Repugs. At this point Reid is hurting the hell out of the Democratic party....if he is not replace we will continue to be hurt.

liked the idea of Webb as his VP! I'm very impressed by him and think we can only benefit as long as he serves.

I like that. It's something missing from too many right now.

I get the heebie-jeebies thinking about how close the Confederate rodeo clown came to taking the seat. Webb's managed to deflate him nicely since taking office though, making his term look like a time-marking pissant in comparison.
