He's about to throw meaningful health care reform under the bus with the public option, and that will paint my opinion of his administration forever.

That is if you don't count the creation of HMO's during the Nixon era.

9. My anger is more directed
toward the Blue Dog Democrats like Kent Conrad and Max Baucus who seem to be making this impossible. All Obama can really do is state his case but it is up to Congress to create the bill. If they won't give the American people what they want then they need to be voted out of office and replaced with legislators who will. Fat chance we'd get much better in ND and Montana.

It isn't over yet. Congress isn't even done writing this yet. We have a ways to go before we become too disheartened. I am trying to be optimistic.

13. No he is not throwing anything under the bus. What he is doing is getting health care
passed if he can do this regardless of the idiot bluedogs. Get it passed, may not be exactly the way we planned but then it can be tweaked and with a stronger congress, we can get it the way it needs to be for all of us.

Think about what he is facing. You have to do some things and he is working to make sure it gets by the house and senate.
