Should we rename ourselves the....
United States of Republicans

or

United States of Insurance Companies...

They rule no matter who wins an election.

1. I think it's really the United States of Money.
It works either way.

5. Haven't followed the news so much today,
but I did watch Meet the Press, and Rachel looked at Dick Army like he was a bug. She made her points well; we have a majority.

John Keane (SP),CNN, starts out talking and what he says sounds good to me, than he flips over and all negative stuff comes out of his mouth and I want to scream. Are these anchors afraid of losing the Rolls Royce health coverage the networks give them or being taxed for it? He had Sebelius on today and she sounded wishy-washy. Thanks for posting the link. I hope she misspoke.

What's wrong with reconciliation, where we allow a simple majority of ONE to pass a bill..and why aren't more people talking about it?

This whole thing has me so nervous..

I love this President. I forget who, but he told some congressman who was on TV today that he doesn't care if he's a ONE TERM PRESIDENT, that he will pass a real health care reform bill this term. Maybe we can canonize or knight him in lieu of a second term.

4. I mean, it's real hard to be free
when you are bought and sold in the marketplace.

6. Fascist America. I never thought I would say that. I never thought we would be that....
but we are. So tell your children. Tell your grandkids. Tell them where we failed and what they can do to change it. Or maybe not....because they may have to give up their lives to change it.

7. I think the country would be a whole lot better off if there were
demonstrably weakened health insurance ripoffs and quite a bit more Gordon Lightfoot played on the radio.

It would still leave some room for improvement, but it would be a great start.
