1. "What's happening in health insurance now is like what was happening on Wall street - people taking
money out of your pocket and putting it into theirs."

Dean, fighting for reform, the public option, the people.

2. Dean thinks a public option will pass - with no Rethug votes. "This is a Kabuki dance, lot's of
agonizing...but once Dems realize the Rethugs won't vote for anything, they'll vote to get it right - without them."

GAWD, I hope the good Dr. Dean is right!

3. the dems are pissing me off. didn't they friggin learn from the stimulus!!
they gave the republicans what they wanted and then the republicans STILL wouldn't vote for it. not a one of them. But let's give them the healthcare reform to rip apart and destroy so they can not vote for that either. and then the dems look bad and their supporters, the ones who WANT the public option AT THE VERY LEAST will get mad and not vote for them. I swear... I am so damned mad!!

4. Same old story. Republicans have no brains. Democrats have no balls.
I for one hope Dean's right. Is this really a feint to get this thing out of committee as he says. I could believe that this is the Obama administraton's plan and then go back to public option when the final bill gets written but I have very little faith in the testicular and ovarian fortitude of many Democratic Congresscritters and Senators.

5. i hope so. it wouldn't be the first time obama has come through despite our not
trusting... but when I see all this stuff about co ops and no public option and deals with pharma companies etc... knowing how things have gone in the past, I can't help but to be discouraged and depressed.
