.......our Neville Chamberlain on health reform. Is appeasement with the republicans more important than a real and significant "change" in health care? Was he giving us nothing but lip service during the campaign? During the Shrub years the republicans wouldn't give the Dems the time of day and rammed everything they could through congress. We have control of everything now and we're wimping out, even Barack. We're being sold a bill of goods here and we're being sold out by the ones we believed would enact real "change". At least that's what they told us and we believed them. If a real health care reform bill is not passed with at the very least, a government option, I am quitting the Democratic Party. We have the WH, majorities in the Senate and the House and we either bow to repubs or the corporatists. I am truly disgusted with the whole party, they've become not different than the repubs. Say hello to the new boss, same as the old boss. The Who sure had that right.
