I received an email from the state (AZ) Republican Party... see their anti-HC reform position

The future of our healthcare is hanging in the balance, and you can help make the difference.

As you undoubtedly know, a fierce battle is underway that could dramatically change the way we receive healthcare in America.

President Obama and liberal Democrats in Congress are proposing an out-and-out government takeover of healthcare before their August recess. Now is the time for Arizona's voters to take a stand against their reckless, flawed and expensive plan to socialize our nationís healthcare system.

If we lose this fight, healthcare as we know it will change forever.

Not only could families be forced off of their current health plan, the cost of the program will be at least $1 trillion. In order to pay for their proposal, they will raise taxes on families for everything from soda and salty foods to a new income surtax on small business to pay for their new a socialized healthcare system.

We cannot let them succeed.

Arizona is home to five congressional Democrats who can make a difference in whether or not government run healthcare becomes the law of the land.

We have successfully fought liberal ideas and proposals before, but never one that could destroy our way of life.

P.S. It's wrong to have the federal government decide what treatments we can have, and who can have them. Time is of the essence.

I would really like to ask one of these asshats what 'way of life' they are referring to when they keep saying this - but I expect the answer would be a simpleton response like "our freedom"; "the American way"; or "what Founding Fathers intended".

Sorry, Bucko, but I'm unable to send $10, $25 or $50 right now because my co-pays have doubled, my deductible has tripled and my premiums are 4 times last years.
