Sgt. James Crowley, got a four minute standing ovation from FOP
Fraternal Order of Police with an audience of over three thousand police officers gave Crowley a four minute standing ovation when he spoke to them Friday. Wonder what he said that was so inspiring?
It seems that whenever a cop who acts wrongfully actually looses his job, the damn union sues to get it back and usually does. I am not against all unions though, especially in the private sector.
Didn't the perp walk? Weren't the charges against the arrestee dropped completely? Cops like that sort of thing so much, they'll give a standing ovation to the fuck-up? This is very confusing.
8. The police, as a collective, are notoriously right wing...
and also they are like a fraternity or a brotherhood, or an good 'ol boys club. They will support and defend their own, right or wrong. Ask Serpico (okay, I kid).
