Bloggers: Won the battle, loosing the war...
Edited on Mon Aug-17-09 03:16 PM by fumsm
Ok, so now here we are. We won the battle by sidestepping the MSM and getting the facts out via the internet. This allowed for people to be more informed on what was being spewed out by the corporate media and corporations. Pres Obama won, congress was taken over, and now what? Looks like failure after all.

Pres Obama is showing signs of being manipulated by the "old white guys" association (congress), and is not acting like the manager he is supposed to be. The incumbent crowd is so used to having their asses kicked, (mainly due to their spineless efforts), that they are still afraid of the repukes.

The repukes and the corporations have taken on a whole new outlook. They don't care if they get caught lying, they still continue to lie. They don't care if they look like hypocrites, they still do it. They have basically taken the approach of "who cares", nothing will change because the dems and the public in general are spineless. They have lost their jobs, their health care, their houses, their futures and still they are persuaded by faux screamers and corporate ads.

Unless we get someone in charge who just doesn't care about what the special interest care about, nothing will ever change. FUCK BI=PARTISANSHIP.......

3. Ok, so I'm getting lazy, corrected
But the laziness is a result of my disillusionment in this dem congress and administration to get anything done without the approval of the dickheads that created this mess.

2. campaign finance reform, amigo
the whole shebang runs on money, and while we can indeed provoke excellent responses now out of the electorate with effective online work, once you get inside the beltway your priorities become all about not pissing anyone off- especially those lobbyists with dollars for your campaign.
